Mission Trip to Jamaica
Our Story
Our family has been part of Christ Church Sugar Land for the past few years. This summer, we’re joining forces with other local churches on a mission trip to Jamaica — a journey rooted in long-standing relationships and a shared desire to serve.
Our Work
From July 9 to July 16, Eli and I will be serving alongside Thicketts Church in Jamaica, helping to repair their roof and rebuild the front steps of their church building.
We’ll also be working with Richmond New Testament to God Church and Mary Mount Girls’ School — distributing school supplies and shoes to students and supporting local efforts to care for their communities.
Where We Are Starting From
This is our first overseas mission trip — and a powerful opportunity for Eli and me to serve together, learn from a new culture, and grow in our faith.
I’m a video producer based in Texas. Eli is a high school junior at Dulles High School in Sugar Land. We’re stepping out of our comfort zone, hoping to be a small part of the good work happening in Jamaica — and to return home changed by it.
